Reagan Was Wrong. So Was Kennedy.
There are places you can escape to. America is not "the last stand on earth." You have every right to ask "what your country can do for you."
“If we lose freedom here, there’s no place to escape to. This is the last stand on earth.” -Ronald Reagan, “A Time For Choosing,” 1964
Ronald Reagan was wrong. There are places you can escape to, which means America is not "the last stand on earth." Andrew Henderson, the Nomad Capitalist, explains.
Robert Kiyosaki asks “Is it Time to Leave the Country?” YES.
“Ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country.” -Pres. John F. Kennedy, Inaugural Address, 1961
Kennedy was wrong, too. Citizens have every right to ask what their country can do for them, in addition to what they can do for their country. That’s part and parcel of the social contract that exists between people and nation.
Western governments have made it abundantly clear that only certain preferred classes of people can ask what a country can do for them, and that such preferred classes need never ask what they can do for a country. Meanwhile, productive yet non-preferred classes are never allowed to ask what their country can do for them, and what they do for their country will never be enough.
As I have written before, your government not only doesn’t give a damn about you, but in the words of Sam Hyde, they “want you broke, dead, your kids raped and brainwashed, and they think it’s funny.”
